GG-NedVac Vacuumglas

is extremely suitable for monumental buildings that want to preserve their unique appearance. The standard NedVac vacuum glass is 8.3mm and is typically made of tempered safety glass.

However, the possibilities extend further, as improved acoustic and/or burglary-resistant properties can be added to the glass by applying extra films and/or additional glass panes.

Vacuum glass insulates better than HR++ insulating glass. Our products achieve a u value of 0.4, which insulates even better than Triple glass (u= 0.6)

Vacuum glass is extra soundproof because vacuum glass has almost no conduction from the inside to the outside. The sound reduction achieved is dB36 to dB39 in glass thicknesses of 8 to 12 mm.

All types of NedVac are 100% recyclable and consist of 99% glass. The product does not contain any heavy metals, only the absorption strip contains light metal.

Due to the extremely good u-value of the NedVac, you no longer have condensation on the inside. Condensation occurs at a certain humidity and only when the temperature difference is large, then condensation occurs on the cold surface. With vacuum glass, there will sometimes be condensation on the outside, with this you see the effect of the low insulation value.

The low U-value (insulation value), low thickness and low weight make vacuum glass ideally suited as monument glass.

NedVac has the least microspacers compared to other vacuum glass products. Microspacers are needed to prevent the glass plates from pressing against each other after the vacuum production process.

NedVac is delivered directly from the factory, which keeps prices competitive for all market parties. The glass is packaged and shipped by the factory in China, after arrival in the Netherlands it is delivered directly to you as a customer.

Isolatiewaarde van glas wordt uitgedrukt in de u-waarde. Dit is de hoeveelheid warmte dat door het glas verloren gaat. De u-waarde geeft aan hoeveel warmte (Watt) er per vierkante meter en per graad temperatuurverschil tussen beide zijde wordt doorgelaten. Hoe lager de u-waarde, des te beter het glas isoleert. Anders gezegd: hoe lager de u-waarde des te minder warmteverlies van binnen naar buiten en dus beter voor het leef comfort en de energierekening. 

Aan vacuümglas kunnen eigenschappen worden toegevoegd waardoor bepaalde prestaties aanzienlijk worden verbeterd. Door akoestische poly vynil butyral’s (pvb’s) toe te voegen worden de geluidswerende eigenschappen verbeterd, door het toevoegen van meerdere pvb’s worden de inbraakwerende eigenschappen sterk verbeterd De combinaties zijn legio. Op basis van het (architecten)bestek of aan de hand van bepaalde wensen van de (eind)gebruiker kan de beste glascombinatie worden berekend.

Deze waarde geeft aan hoeveel warmtestraling het vacuümglas tegenhoudt. Hoe lager de g-waarde, hoe meer warmtestraling van de zon het glas tegenhoudt. Een g-waarde van 0.39 betekent dat het glas 39% van de straling doorlaat.
